Married at First Sight: Second Chances ~ Observations and Questions

In this episode of Married at First Sight: Second Chances on Lifetime, my focus was on body language in addition to words. Here are my observations on what I read between the lines.

 Stop, Look and Listen...   

Salem and David never went beyond the friend zone. 
Zach admits something was off with Vanessa from the beginning.


It seems if you truly want to impress 
the "mother", you don't show up late to dinner...


...instead you tell her about all the love you have to give her son. 


You may have had a lack of "present" Andre, but 
you had no lack of "presence". Mama's like hugs. 


Chandra's honest first impression of the guys...Priceless!!!
Myles~What now, wait? Miracle marijuana?
Shannon~You seem like you can talk your way out of a lot of things.
Andre~I noticed your hair. It's a little bit of a shock factor. 


Mama Norton drops some truth bombs on
 David about Melika and her father's disapproval...


And Tara's mama gives a heartfelt plea not to hurt her 
daughter. I'm pretty sure the whole world feels the same way. 


Isabella gives David some serious shade about ignoring her... 


..while staring at Melika throughout the dinner with his mom.


I can definitely see that free thinkers are nurtured here. What
an interesting first meeting with a very eclectic and artsy family.


 I feel bad that Melika's parents didn't show up, but I gotta 
admit, I was a little distracted by the man with the white glasses.


David reveals to Isabella she's the perfect match for him...


...not to be confused with his revelation to Melika that she's the one.


So Many Questions, so Little Time...  


The first person to get the girl is Andre. 


But will the kids get along? 


And will Andre's lip smacking drive Vanessa crazy? 


Shannon's mom was hilarious when she said a
 t-shirt is not gonna "get it". But will Shannon 
step up the romance to get a week with Vanessa?
There is obviously chemistry between Vanessa and Myles, but 
do their moral compasses and lifestyles line up to make it long-term?


David tells Melika he loves her. Does she 
change her mind and say yes to moving in? If not, 
how will the other girls feel about his declaration of love?
Tara is perfect for David in every way, but can 
he shift his heart from Melika to her in such a short time?


Isabella is clearly one of the final two women...


...but does a meeting so soon with Rachel DeAlto,
mean the honeymoon is over?
