Past Work
Sunny and 80 degrees with a light breeze, made for the perfect storm, when combined with the sunset overlooking the lake and the crazy awesome musical talent onstage. Jeremiah James Korfe delivered what audience members deemed the best concert in the 2-year concert series.

It's been two years since the breakup with Paige Duke, from Sweet Home Alabama.
"The first year was extremely hard," Jeremiah said, "but now I'm in a really good place. It's one of those things in life when you get to a point of knowing you just need to move on. You do it, but it takes time. Now it's been three years (since the show aired) and it's way, way behind me."
Note: It's so far behind him, we had to stop and do the math to figure out how many years it had actually been.

In looking back on Sweet Home Alabama, Jeremiah wished he had gone into it with a different mindset. "I should have taken the whole show for a really awesome marketing opportunity."
The way Sweet Home Alabama was manipulated for production purposes, "plays with your psyche when watching the show for the people that are on it. If I would have taken the whole show for what it was, this big joke and this big game, then I probably wouldn't have been hurt by any of it. But because I went in whole heartedly and went after it, that's what ends up happening," he states.

"Oh, 100%! It would have been so much better, because I could have just used that scenario, as opposed to stepping back a few years musically, to focus on a relationship that inevitably wasn't going to work anyway. But you try to believe the best," Jeremiah adds.
Having said that, if there is anything good that's come from Jeremiah getting his heart broken, it's the deep and moving emotion that is pouring out of him...one song after another.
Present Work
Jeremiah has recently been to both L.A. and Nashville, writing and recording music.
He shared a fun story behind the release of his latest single, Work.

But the whole time he was recording the mock vocals and music, Jeremiah felt the lyrics were too heavy. "When the song was finished and we were polishing it up, I was like, I'm just not stoked with these vocals with this track," he said.
With only three days to spare before doing final vocals in the studio, Jeremiah called his fiddle player Ashley, and they tossed around some ideas.
He decided to flip the entire concept of the song to have it be about a girl. He rewrote the more upbeat and fun lyrics and is happy with the way it turned out. "I love how easy it is now. It's something that everyone can relate to," said Jeremiah, who also shared that it's one of his favorite songs to perform.

Future Work
What's up next? He's working on getting his first full 12-song Country album released next summer, which will include 5 singles that have yet to be released. I've had a sneak peek at a few of them and they are by far his best artistic work yet.
