Married at First Sight: Second Chances ~ Hits and Misses

In this week's episode of Married at First Sight: Second Chances, we've got some hits and some misses. Here we go...

The Hits Just Keep on Coming

Vanessa does some reflection with Calvin Roberson, 

admitting she needs to be more open, trusting and 

clear in her expectations of what she's looking for in a man. 
You go girl!

David and Jordan agree if they would have been 

originally matched, they would still be married. I'm with them.

Vanessa learns that Dre got the book, Five Love Languages 

and read it after their last conversation. Impressive indeed. 

Isabelle...the calm in the storm. David shines like a 

lighthouse when he's with her. They ask each other some great 

questions to develop an emotional connection. Reaching beyond the chemistry. 

Shannon sets his jokes aside long enough to 

move in for the first kiss. Definitely unexpected.

Many years of flirting as friends and Tara & David

finally gets their first kiss. Patience is a virtue.

Missing the Mark

David tells Dr. Pepper he is looking for someone who is fun. 

He also tells her that Maya is his first choice. Hmmm....

I'm waiting to see fun in this relationship...but I'm not holding my 

breath. My hope is that David is starting to see the forest through the trees. 

After a great date...Dre calls it a night early and suggests

they go their separate ways. Wait...what??? Is this guy

playing hard to get or is he really that exhausted from a little salsa?

 Malika plays the damsel in distress to get a date with David. In a 

private interview, she tells the camera she has no competition. The final 

miss for me is when she turns her head to give David the ever dreaded cheek. 

After going on a two week roller coaster of ups and downs with Nathan, 
it feels like he's purposely pushing buttons to get a negative reaction. 
I don't see Vanessa doing well with game playing. I'm with her.
